A VERY POTTER MUSICAL is a fan musical based on, but not in association with, the hugely popular Harry Potter books by J.K. Rowling and the following Warner Bros. hit movies. The musical was filmed in its entirety and put on YouTube, where it received over 160,000 views in less than two days! An album featuring some of the songs reached number 14 on the ITunes pop charts, topping both Glee and Lady Gaga. It later spawned a less successful, but no less humorous, sequel: A Very Potter Sequel.
