LEGALLY BLONDE is a hit musical based on the movie of the same name, starring Reece Witherspoon as a ditzy but intelligent California girl who follows her heart all the way to... law school. She sets out to disprove the dumb blonde theory and along the way wins
her man - but is it the man she set out to get? The movie spawned two sequels and was based on the best selling books by Amanda Brown.

The show has music and lyrics by Nell Benjamin and Laurence O'Keefe who were nominated for a Tony award for their work. Laurence O'Keefe is perhaps best known for the quirky Off-Broadway show Bat Boy which also played the West End.

Legally Blonde inspired MTV to film the Broadway show, and then follow up with a documentary series entitled Legally Blonde - The Search For Elle Woods which found the
successor to Broadway's original, Laura Bell Bundy.

In 2009 Legally Blonde will made its West End debut featuring musical actress Sheridan Smith and boyband member Duncan James, who has previously appeared in Chicago and recorded a single for Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Woman In White.
