FLASHDANCE is the musical adaption of the 1983 movie of the same name. The movie featured severable memorable songs in its soundtrack, several of which became so synonymous with Flashdance that they were included in the musical, along with the numbers written for the show.

The show started touring the United Kingdom in 2008 and finished in 2009. In 2010, the show opened in London's West End with many of the touring cast.
