Ruthie Henshall was born in Kent, England, in 1967. She most famous in the UK for the television series Dancing On Ice, in which she was a judge. However theatre fans will know her for her many roles on stage. She has created many London roles, memorably the title character of Marguerite, Roxie Hart in Chicago and Polly in Crazy For You. Ruthie has recorded three soloalbums, with another planned for 2010 and can be heard on many cast recordings including Miss Saigon, She Loves Me and Les Misérables.
Currently Ruthie presents Friday Night Is Music Night for
BBC Radio 2.
